From John Barnett, The Barnett Family of Alabama, 1934 :
Uncle Robert was a splendid farmer. He resided near Grady, Ala.
near the southern border of Montgomery Co. When the writer was
10 years of age a joyous vacation was spent with Uncle Robert and
Aunt Elizabeth and how well I remember the fruit trees, teh bee hives,
and milking time when Cousin Eula extracted the milk while I held
off the calves. What fun and what a time! After Uncle Roberts death Oct. 4,
1895 the family then removed to Montgomery and cousin Eula Lee
Barnett now resides at the home place, 719 Washington Avenue.
