Barnett
Mr Jeppha Kent "Bitty" Barnett - Born December 10,
1920 in Mobile, AL dies on Thursday, October 11,
2001 at a local health care facility. Mr. Barnett was
a long time member of the Spanish Fort United
Methodist Church, chairman of the ushers at Daphne
United Methodist Church prior to joining Spanish Fort
United Methodist Church. He was a member of the
Spanish Fort Masonic Lodge #916, served two tours
of duty in the United States Navy during World War II
and the Korean War. He was a retired employee of
Gulf Transport Company. Mr. Barnett was preceeded
in death by his father, Rev Benjamin Madison Barnett;
his mother, Addie Kent Barnett and brother, Joseph
B. Barnett. He is survived by his wife, Helen Fairchild
Barnett; three daughters, Charlotte (Larry) Tait, Sara
(Andrew) Hall and Ada Kay Whisenhant; one son,
Robin Edward Barnett; one sister, Ruth Vittenberg;
one nephew, Richard Barnett; two extended sons,
Ralph L. Fairchild and Ronald R. Fairchild; eight
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other
relatives and friends, Funeral services will be held
from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on
Monday, October 15, 2001 at 10AM. The family
will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday,
October 14, 2001 from 5-8PM. Internment will be
in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Mr Jeptha Kent "Bitty" Barnett - Funeral services were held
from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Monday, October
15, 2001 at 10 AM officiated by Rev Charles H Hale and Mr Matt
Jones. Soloist was Mr Randy Davis. Honorary pallbearers were
Larry Tait, George Whisenhant, Alan Barton and J.L. Nobles.
Acive pallbearers were Ronald Fairchild, Ralph L Fairchild,
Jeffery Andrew Hall, Alexander David Whisenhant, Matt Aaron
Whisenhant, and Andrew Charles Hall. Interment was in Pine
Crest Cemetery.
