Charles Bethelle Berrey, Sr, was born in Montgomery county Ala and was of Scotch-Irish descent. At the time of his marriage was living in Montgy. and an employee of M&O RR. In 1913 he and his family moved from Petrey ro Ramer, Ala where for several years he was with Whatley Mercantile Co. In 1924 moved back to Montgy. and received appointment of Field INspector for Montgomery County Health Dept which he held until his death. Interred at Ramer, Ala. Bessie Barnett Berrey now resides 511 1/2 Mildred St Montgy where the writer had teh sweet pleasure of seeing her again after an elapse of 40 years. May health, happiness and prosperity now smile upon her and her loved ones, continually throughout the New Year.
