JULY 14, 1921
** Mr. & Mrs. Wm. BENJAMIN of Mass motored to Oxford and are guests of
the latters mother, Mrs. Rufus WOOD. While driving through New
Brunswick, Mr. & Mrs. BENJAMIN had the misfortune to go over an
embankment, shaking them up badly and damaging the car.

March 3, 1921
**OBIT - Thompson REID
At an early hour Tuesday morning Feb 22nd there passed peacefully away,
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. COVE, Oxford an aged, well-known
resident of Little River in the person of Thompson REID. The deceased
had been a patient sufferer for some months, death was due to heart
failure. He had long passed the allotted span and reached the ripe age
of 87.
The immediate surviving relatives are his widow, one brother Colin of
Oxford, two sisters, Mrs. Rufus WOOD, Oxford and Mrs. Robt. PRICE,
Saskatchewan and five children, Stephen and Mrs. Chas Cove, Oxford
Ainsley B., Trenton, N.S., Mrs. L.F. MAYNARD and Mrs. B. McLEAN,
Brighton, Mass.
Mr. Reid was baptized and united with the Oxford United Baptist some 35
years ago.
The Funeral service conducted by Rev. W.E. SCOTT was largely attended.
Interment at Birch Grove Cemetery.
